Welcome- I am so happy you landed here on my site! Taking the first steps to even consider therapy can be an overwhelming feeling. You are already showing the strength and motivation to feel better, or you wouldn't be here now.

Maybe you haven't felt like yourself since the baby was born. Maybe you're feeling stressed, depressed, and anxious about becoming pregnant, being a parent, or regarding issues with loss of a pregnancy. Perhaps motherhood is not at all what you had pictured and you are struggling with this new life role. You could be having scary thoughts and need a space to process the things that are popping up into your mind. Maybe the birth of your child was traumatic, or was not what you were hoping for. You might feel stuck and hopeless that things will never change.

I'm Heather and I'm here to help.

I provide therapy to women (and some adolescent mothers) who are experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders; grief & loss surrounding pregnancy/loss of baby; adjustment to life transitions regarding the perinatal period; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; and stressors related to motherhood or parenting in general. I practice inclusion and work with individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions/beliefs, immigration statuses, sexual orientations, and levels of ability/disability. I am anti-racist and I am an ally.
